Renier is an ex Deloitte & Touche management consultant. He started Vision Management Consultants in 1993.

His experience encompasses all major sectors of industry: Mining, public, manufacturing (motor and shipbuilding) and various services sectors. Shifting emphasis from engineering to operational management and consultancy during the last 29 years, he has led various major organizational interventions across a range of industries in both private and public sectors. Renier has held executive management positions and directorships in the financial services, public and manufacturing sectors. The particular relevance of Renier’s experience lies in his acquired ability to direct and integrate the various strategic, operational, organizational and financial work streams of complex projects into workable solutions.

Vision Management Consultants has completed more than 60 major consulting assignments, of which the following are typical examples: Organizational transformation and restructuring, business process reengineering (BPR), facilities management both hard (including maintenance management) and soft services, private equity models, human capital management and leadership development - (mentoring and coaching). Renier was also a Visiting Lecturer in Strategy Development and Leadership Development at Rhodes University. He has worked in Africa, Australia and Seychelles and undertook a study tour in the USA.
